Peruvian anthropologist focused on body, beauty and gender studies, researching "Asian beauty" and the cosmetic industry in Peru and Mexico. Winner of the Fray Bernardino De Sahagún Award, for the Best Doctoral Thesis in the areas of Ethnology and Social Anthropology, awarded by the National Institute of Anthropology and History of Mexico. Feminist and autistic woman, with activist and teaching experience, and academic publications on sexual and reproductive health, neurodiversity and critical disability studies. Member of the Critical Disability Studies Working Group and the Feminisms, Resistances and Emancipation Working Group at the Latin American Council of Social Sciences – CLACSO, and the Global Feminism and Queer Politics Commission of the International Union of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences – IUAES.
