    Dear Jessie,

    I am writing because I am interested in participating in the roundtable as a participant. I am interested in the question of Global Asias as a academic discipline and ways in which it can be developed in universities which doesn't currently engage in this form. I am really interested in Graduate Student lead Asian and Global Asias Initiave, and the way it developed particularly in the universities in the midwest. Currently I am the founder and the lead conevnor of Approaching Global Asias, a Graduate Student Led Initiative at the University of Minnesota.
