Hello everyone
I am Pieter Van Lommel, assistant professor at the University of Tsukuba. We are looking for participants and a discussant for our panel tentatively called "Children's Literature and Media in Japan." Currently we have two participants who will present papers on (1) magazines for elementary school teachers in Meiji and Taisho Japan and the children's literature published in them, and (2) children's literature and print media after WWII. If you are interested in tackling children's literature from the perspective of media (magazines, newspapers, publishers, …), we would love to hear from you.
We are looking for:
- one graduate student (presenter)
- one discussant
- possibly one more presenter
