Hi all,
I know this is very last-minute but if anyone is interested in joining our panel as a chair or a discussant, I would love to hear from you. I am organising a panel on the rise of data-based knowledge making and governance in Asia since the early twentieth century. Our 4 panelists including myself, coming from history, anthropology, and STS studies, will be discussing traditional Asian medicine, machine translation techniques in the 1980s Japan, the development and the ideological origins of automated fingerprint identification system, and disability and government data in contemporary urban India.
