Themes: gender, women, sexuality, racialization, including -- gender/sexuality and AI and migration and Xenophone temporality; material culture/consumer culture and gender/sexuality/queerness; science and sexuality/gender in 20th or 19th C Java and China; queer subcultures 20th C (history) Asia especially Sinophone Pacific cultures, Java, Philippines (other places/times welcome); histories of gender/sexuality more broadly.     I am doing PhD from the university of Heidelberg Germany. I am interested to present a paper entitled "Dancing to Hymn: A choreographed Masculinity and Purjosh Wagah".  It engages the role of gender and sexuality in the unique performance on borderland  between India and Pakistan.
