    Dear Colleagues,

    We are organizing a panel about media representations on social issues in Japan and Korea and looking for a chair and discussant(s).

    Currently we have four papers of the following topics:

    • information circulation and women's labor in Japan
    • representations of women's poverty in Japan
    • discourses on Korean female backpackers
    • representations of Korean pop culture and localization in Japan
