    Dear Molly,

    I have been facing some problem with the proposal submission portal. As I submit my proposal in the submission box, my footnotes are getting lost. The word count for the proposal is 1000 but as the footnotes get missing in the box, the word count is being reduced too. I tried with endnotes also. But the same problem persists. The submission box doesn't show or count the endnotes or footnotes either. What should I possibly do? Please confirm,

    Dear Himalaya,

    The application portal limits the total proposal word count to 1,000 words (including footnotes!) and does not allow for formatting. My apologies for the inconvenience.
