We are finalizing an organized panel for AAS 2027 on digital visibility, unequal futures, and transnational belonging in contemporary Asia. We now have three presenters and a confirmed discussant, and are looking for a chair.
We would especially welcome a chair working on digital Asia, migration/labor, inequality, platform studies, contemporary China, cultural studies, postcolonial studies, or transnational belonging. The chair role would involve introducing the panelists, keeping time, and helping facilitate discussion.
We would be honored if you may be interested or know someone who might be a good fit.
