  • 1.  Climate Change Vulnerability Paper

    Hello

I would like to present my research on the local level vulnerability in the low lying islands of the Indian Sundarban Delta region.  I would appreciate if I could get information on a panel that I can fit my paper in.

    Hello,

Have you found a panel to work with? I am writing a paper on climate change and land reclamation in urban spaces in the Philippines. I think there is a way to weave our papers into a panel. Specifically, my paper seeks to look into the contestations surrounding a land-reclamation infrastructure in one of the most climate vulnerable local governments in the Philippines.

Please let me know if this is something you are interested in.

    Best

Yes your paper sounds very interesting. I am not yet part of any panel. Would you like to put together a panel? I am not sure how it works.

Sure, we can form a panel. I will send an email to you so that we can discuss the details. Another scholar has already emailed me and inquired about this panel. I will loop you in.

    Hi Shouraseni and Antonio,

    Kalinaw (Greetings of Peace)!

I am also joining the thread here to share that I am interested in joining the panel, as I  am also conducting climate change studies. I did my anthropological research about Sama-Bajaus in Davao City, Philippines (Indigenous Peoples of the Sea in Southeast Asia) on their Climate Change Knowledge, Experiences, and Responses. This is a holistic anthropological approach through ethnography centering Indigenous voices in the climate change discussions.

Let me know if I can still join the panel!
