    Also, under which budget head should 'per diem' and 'stay' come? I am asking this with reference to the sample budget given on the CHSS web page.

    Dear Sai,

    Yes, you may purchase a laptop, but the expectation is that at the end of the grant term you would donate the laptop to your institution and not keep it for personal use.
