Dear Ambreen,
Yes, teachers, professors, employers, or colleagues are all good examples of who can write a letter of reference for you. The only people who should not provide a letter are any teammates or co-pi's on your project. Any application that uses a team member or co-pi for a letter of reference will not be considered. A good letter of reference should identify your strengths as an applicant, your ability to complete the project, and how the referee is an authority on either your ability or their field.

Hello I want to know whether the letter of reference is to be written by colleagues only or our teachers can also write it for us?

And the same question I have regarding the feasibility of using the grant for a journal article. Which budget head it will be covered under, particularly when the field data is not required?
