    Dear all,

I'm a research fellow at the Institute for Political Science at Bonn University, Germany, looking for a panel to join at AAS 2026.

My PhD project explores the phenomenon of ' re-experiencing red memory' in China and how the Chinese Communist Party seeks to derive emotional legitimacy from its historical legacy, such as the Anti-Japanese War of Resistance and the Long March. I am particularly focusing on emotional and immersive ways to remember this period, for example, role-playing games and immersive event halls.
If you are organising a panel and believe my paper might be suitable, or if you plan to create a panel around relevant themes, please do not hesitate to contact me at frederik.schmitz@uni-bonn.de. Thank you!

    Best,
    Frederik
